TO ALL MY GREAT THESPIANS...

GREETINGS!

Bad news...I'm still alive! Anyways, here are your Homework/Assignments for the Quarter Break...it's not a lot...I promise...!

FIRST...I want each of you to have 3-5 ideas of what we could do for our Play Production for the end of the year...this means, you should've checked and should know whether your choices require royalties or not...if possible, have sample script copies of it as well; make sure the plays you have researched on and prepared are doable for our group...nothing extravagant or lavish since this is our first production...no musicals, please...!

SECOND...continuously do your exercises in preparation for our theatre performances...!

THIRD...the first thing you will be doing when we get back from the break is to perform your Across the Curriculum Activities in front of the class...the break should be enough time for you to perfect and improve your performances...!

LASTLY...you should've memorized your lines, complete with emotions and feelings, for A Treasury of Scenes and Monologues, which is going to be performed when we get back from the break...no props or costumes necessary...you are going to be graded based on your delivery, feelings and emotions, and actions...!

That's All Folks!!! Have a great and restful break and come back refreshed and ready to Rock-n-Roll! Take care always and stay safe...God Bless! CIAO!!!

TO ALL MY GREAT THESPIANS...

GREETINGS!

Your Homework/Assignment for the weekend is to do the following...some of it require writing while most do not---however, I am still going to find out whether you did it, practiced it, or prepared for it...trust me! You may want to use note cards for personal reference, but when you are called to perform, those note cards are not allowed with you on stage...!

FIRST...make sure to start doing the following EXERCISES daily...Relaxation, Posture, Walking, and Crossing/Turning/Falling...know what they all are from this point onwards!

SECOND...work on and practice the following EXERCISES as well...know it well so when I call on you to go up in front of the class, give you the title of exercise and the number, then you ought to be able to show it to us without asking what to do...Gestures (1,2,4), Patnomime Expressions (1), Characterization (1 & 3), and Objects in Pantomime (2,5,6)!

THIRD...find two to three other people to work with, preferably those you have not had a chance to work with yet...prepare and practice any two EXERCISES from Group Pantomimes on page 49...I'll give you an entire week to work on this....but I won't tell you when I will call on you to perform it!

FOURTH...do Application Activities on page 50 number one only...and Application Activities 0n page 59 numbers 2, 3, and 5.

LASTY...do Application Activities on page 59 number 6...first, design 2-3 drafts of your planned mime with the title in your NB...do not do the sign yet.

That's All Folks! From here onwards...our classes are going to be geared towards preparing ourselves for our end of the Semester Exam Performance and our Major Play Performance at the end of the year. Take care and be safe always...and always remember...

"The thing about performance, even if it's just an illusion, is that it is a celebration of the fact that we do contain with ourselves infinite possibilities...!" (Daniel Day Lewis)
