FIRST...so far...I have five people listed for the specific accent they intend to work on...Goff (Scottish), Jeff (Russian), Frank (Italian), James (German), and Meentra (British)...these people can no longer change their choice from this point onwards to be fair to those who have not chosen theirs yet. I am still waiting for the other seven individuals...and time is running out...!
SECOND...do not forget that we are having another Mastery Test on the Second Part of our Chapter 4 discussion on Monday, 10 March 2008...STUDY-STUDY-STUDY...!
LASTLY...Amiable Bitterness practice on Monday afternoon will be without scripts already...ACT ONE: Scenes 1-2-3-4-5-6-7...Elizabeth, Ferrero, Passers-by, Cynthia, and Abigaile. Props & Backstage Directors should have started their work by then...I want results by Monday afternoon...or else...!

Here is where you post the type of acent you intend to work on for our "Accent Delivery Session" in class. Remember that it either has to be a distinct European accent or a distinct American accent. Also...this is a first come, first serve sign up so that there will be no repetition...no Asian accents, please...thank you so much! Have a great weekend everyone...AB actors, PLEASE make sure you've perfected memorization of ACT ONE by next week...or else...! Take care all of you and be good...CIAO!!!

GREETINGS UNTO THEE MY FELLOW THESPIANS...
KHONG XI FAH CHAI...HONG PAO NA LAI?!
Here's the first part of your Chinese New Year Break homework/assignment...the second part will deal merely with our script...memorization of parts and constructive criticisms of the final story line.
FIRST...PLEASE make sure you read well Chapter 4 of your text...we will have our lesson presentations as soon as we get back from the break. Remember that your presentation can be criticized by the other groups and you in turn can criticize those who are presenting...which is why it is important for you to know the entire chapter. Whichever group cannot support or answer questions adressed to them will get deductions for their presentation grade...!
SECOND...with the same group, do Application Activities Number 2, "comic script" on page 101...this will be due for presentation on Tuesday, 19 February 2008, but I would like to see your script by Wednesday, 13 February 2008...!
LASTLY...on an A4/F12/DS/TNR, do individually Applications Activities Number 1 & 2, "character sketch" on page 108; this will be due for submission the day we get back from the break...!
That's All Folks! Finish all your homework/assignments immediately so you can enjoy your break more...do not procrastinate and leave it off to the weekend before school starts. Take care and be safe always if ever you are going out of town or out of the country...be ready to Rock-N-Roll as soon as we get back...and of course...enjoy your vacation! Since we are not meeting as a class in the next five days, I would like you to please make sure by the time we meet again on Monday, 12 November 2007, that you have finished reading, understanding, and taken notes on the entire Chapter 3: Voice & Diction, pages 62-92 of your text. I will be checking whether you did it or not when we meet again...HINT-HINT! Aside from that, we will also have the performances of the remaining groups for our Treasury of Scenes and Monologues. Those who are still not ready...God help you...!
